Affirmations

At Uprising Theatre Company we believe that stories can change the world. Part of how that work gets done, especially for groups of folks who have been told a negative narrative about themselves, is telling ourselves new stories about our worth and place in the world. We wanted to give you this collection of words of encouragement written by people all over the country and the world so that you can hold on to it and refer to it any time you need it. When the negativity gets too loud, hold on to these words and live to fight another day.
